Released v6.2.3:
- Improved detection of Cirrus Logic CL-GD5420 and older adapters.
- Improved detection of XGA adapters.
- Minor updates.
Released v6.2.3:
There's a feature in Checkit that I could use in HWiNFO as well...
See IRQ 10 - Checkit detects that it's serviced by some driver/TSR, and displays its name.

Somewhere between 6.0.2 and 6.1.0, HWINFO lost the ability to correctly recognize Celeron 266.
Works fine in 6.0.2, but in 6.1.0+ it's misrecognized as Pentium II:

The problem seems back in 6.2.3:

@Mumak:
Thanks 1000 times for still working on that "old" software.
It safes our lifes for us retro DOS lovers 😀
Thanks for all the work!
Here's the log from my resurrected Zenith Z386SX-20 system. CPU, L2 Cache and VGA spot on.

Thanks for the feedback. If any issues, please also attach the DBG file (run with -d switch).

Thanks. I have posted a new version 6.2.4 in the initial post of this thread. Please try it and let me know if it's fixed now.
@Mumak
Looks good. Thank you very much!
Thanks for the feedback!
Hi Mumak, it's a great honor for me to write to the author of HWiNFO as I was always very much impressed by those software. I know detection of hardware has always been a challenge and such tool always proved so handy for us.
I just finished a new build, it was a fun project where I could found how slow I could run a p54cs 100mhz pentium on this SOYO 5TB board, which is 33mhz after some modification. Now I think the bus multiplier is 1.0 and the cpu run at 33mhz which HWiNFO reported correctly at 37mhz (just like CPUINFO, i wonder why it's not 33mhz exactly, maybe some conversion artifact)
Everything was reported correctly on that computer except that little detail, now I dont know why it decided the GUS was the soundcard flagship of this computer when there was also an AWE32 and an SAAYM (ok I understand the SAAYM might not be the one expected for this title, but the SB?). What puzzle me is that it report 10mb of ram for the GUS, is it something I am missing but I think I would had expected 1024KB here and not 10,240KB, dont you agree ?
