Is a Quadro FX 5600 overkill for a pentium 4 3.45 GHz win xp machine?

Yes this is the card. I removed the metal piece at the back to fit in the case
Also its 3.40 Ghz not 3.45
It has 2 GIGs or ddr 400 ram, but I want to put 4 GIGS in , i just cant find any DDR 400 1 gig sticks.
Anyway, "overkill" is an exaggerated term. Everything boils down to games you play and the target resolution.

Well, I will stick with this GPU , and see what I can run on this thing. I hope to have some time this week to get it up and running.
