hi guys!
first i say really SORRY if this was already asked somewhere else, but I really have few free time lately for give a check.
My question is simple and stupid, but i hope someone can help me figure out this: is there a way for make new GPU's work with SVGA on REAL dos?
For example i noticed untile some late 2004-2005 (maybe even 2006 idk) PCI-Express cards, expecially Nvidia, works like a charm under dos: Keen don't screen tears, Epic Pinball runs (with other ATI or modern GPU i have black screen), Battle Bugs runs correctly on 800x600, Mario game runs (same black screen on other cards) ecc. So by far i've tried a Geforce 2 MX-200 (AGP), Geforce FX5200 (AGP) and a Geforce 6200 TC (PCI-E) and all of these works perfectly for me.
The real main problem\question is that the mobo\PC where i could try these cards is dead, so i have only the other "modern" XP machine (Asus M2N\AMD 64x2) with a Geforce GTX 260 OR a Radeon HD7850.
Problem is, of course, these cards are way too new i think for real dos games (GTX260 from 2009, HD7850 from 2013) and i've tried the GTX260 but gives a lot of glitches, Keen colors are messed up making unplayable and SVGA is not recognized, same goes for the Radeon.
So there is a way for make these or any new GPU's works like the old nvidia's on real dos? any driver, patch or something? (if there is SBEMU for make sound works, why nothing for make video works?)
Thanks again and sorry for the silly question indeed, but i'd like to use new cards if possible
