just wanted to share a lite (By todays standards xD 19.5MB) GM/GS soundfont loosely based on Wingroove+SC-55/88 map

Its called Mini Groove 88ish. enjoy!

here is a tweaked version i attempted to match up with the Sound Canvas VS Demo in SC-55 mode
(all the 88 stuff was removed to keep the file under 20mb)

updated v006 (redid samples for DistortionGt,Cello,Synth Brass and Voice Ohh)

Yeah i made this.

the aim was to have a smallish soundfont while i play older games (for faster loading with less cutouts)
it wont outdo a large soundfont for most types of music though.

After three evenings spent going through different sound fonts, your masquerade55 sound font is the first one that plays great soundtracks from all games I used as samples: Raptor: Call of the Shadows (somewhat), Legend of Kyrandia 1, Hocus Pocus, Duke Nukem 3D and Warcraft 2.

Will try more tracks 😀
