I have this 486 board: https://theretroweb.com/motherboards/s/pcchips-m601-ver.-1.0
There is some minor battery damage but nothing serious. But I'm looking for the manual, because I'd like to know what JP2 is for.

It was jumpered at 2-3. There was also a jumper on 2-3 of the EXT (JP1) header but that, according to the V1.2 manual, is the factory setting - if you want to use an external battery you need to remove it.
Which is pretty obvious since I always use 4 pin CD-ROM sound cables.

The other versions of this board (V1.2 and 1.3x) also have this header but it's not specified in the manual.

Those are the 1.2 and 1.3 versions of same board, maybe You can find something here 😀

Nope, the jumper next to JP1 is not specified.
It's JP2 on the V1.0, JP2 on the other versions is located somewhere else.
