Comprehensive database of music tracking software. Ultimate Soundtracker, ProTracker, Scream Tracker, Fast Tracker, Impulse Tracker, Renoise.
All platforms. All trackers [at list i am trying to seize all of them].

https://trackerbase.blogspot.com/

ps Currently is working on "one day - one tracker" basis. It is one man project so hold your horses a bit. I would be grateful if you point me errors & just wrong stuff.

Oh cool, I stumbled across this site a few years ago but couldn't remember where it was. Glad to see you're still working on it!

Looks like you're still missing Ztracker BTW. To be fair, it's at the end of the alphabet. 😜

Is there any way to sort sections alphabetically?

On the other end of the alphabet, here are some screenshots of All Sound Tracker (final v1.62.) Feel free to use 'em!

Yesterday I was searching for a DOS tracker that would support both OPL3 and external MIDI. Wikipedia clued me in to All Sound Tracker, googling that name landed me on your site, then after that I found this thread where you had just learned about it and added it. One of those funny coincidences that was interesting if you were there.

Anyway, good work @spacedrone808

^^ RADTracker 2 can also do this, although IIRC I couldn't get MIDI out working on my DOS machine. It might only be able to do it under MacOS/Windows where it emulates the OPL3. Still worth checking out though: https://www.3eality.com/productions/reality-adlib-tracker

(BTW there's another one for the database - the original RADTracker ended development in 1995, but the devs picked it back up and released RADTracker 2 in 2017.)

Now I wonder why in the hell they would ban that...

Unfortunately, that illustrates the problem of having these trigger-happy centralized platforms controlling your content. 🙁

You should probably demand a valid reason why they terminated your hosted site.

I also recommend, if you've been keeping backups locally yourself, to setup a self-host if you're not behind a ISP that blocks TCP port 80 traffic. lighttpd is really easy to configure and you can stringently limit bandwidth on it too. I used to self-host a website from a beaglebone that way.

If I had to hazard a guess, there was probably some music using "copyrighted samples" even though they'd be in fair use because:
A: Well under five seconds in length.
B: Very low audio quality in comparison to original.

Going from post history, it sounds like some mischief on YouTube got the account killed. That could be content strikes or I've heard it can even happen if you get too feisty in the comment section.

It only reinforces the point about these centralised services. Gotta tread very carefully, especially if you're connected to your primary Gmail account.
