AGP. In any case, I had a PCIE 7900GS back then. I voltmodded it and put a different cooler on it and had it at a 50% overclock for about a year before it died. Was a pretty nice card with it overclocked that much.

You think $250 is a lot... go look up going eBay prices for an AGP 7950GT.

What exactly is so good about this? It's just another solid BX Slot-1? Can't seem to tell what it has over things like the P2B variants or the BX2000 variants..

Probably has the rare 1/2 agp divider.

2. will support 768mb of ram, supports 1gb ram on BX if registered Dims, supports ECC
3. Supports up to 155mhz Bus
4. 1.3V - 3.5V vcore in .5 increments.
5. All PCI slots support being Masters "BXMaster features a PCI arbiter chip that allows all 6 of those PCI slots to support bus master devices. 6. In many review you can see the BX Master is faster than other BX boards.

I know, it's perfection. 🤣 I love small motherboards for some reason. I should be able to put this in a small mATX case. I've been wanting to do a reverse sleeper 486 DX4 build in a nice Lian Li or Silverstone case.

I just found one of these today in my garage. I must have bought it a while back and forgot about it.

I remember bidding on that lian li case and losing.

Received mATX Asus K8S-LA based made for HP socket 754 using SiS 760S and 964 southbridge, 512MB and Athlon 64 3400+ 89W (2.4GHz) does have 3 phase VRM using ATX 12V 4 pin connector. I have 2Ghz 51W 90nm 3000+ coming to replace this. Would be nice Athlon XP or P4 alternative for 98se so I can run any of the Geforce FX, Geforce2 or Geforce4 at my choosing.

Unfortunately I think you'll find that AT boards don't fit in mATX cases very well.

On that little board however, only the top PCI slot would be inaccessible in an mATX case, and generally you won't use more than 1 or 2 PCI slots on a 486. But I believe some customizations will be required for the standoffs and the keyboard connector as those probably won't line up.

The IBM one is this: http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/IC_DRAM_Card . Not sure about the others.

yeah the IBM ones are not PCMCIA compatible, the other "DRAM" cards might be third party RAM cards for IBM, see if they have the same staggered pin layout.

some of the others are probably just flash cards, what PCMCIA was originally created for ^^ just think of them as "oversized CF cards"
