Just want to say I had some dosbox slow down problems using opengl + vsync forced on in nvidia drivers on windows. Turning off vsyncoff (default) resulted no problems.

I will add that simple moving the mouse takes quite a few percentages of cpu power too.
Excuse me, where could I find pre-compiled 64bit DOSBoxes for OSX to download?
You are kidding, right? 😉
... first time I pass these parts. I tried Dosbox because VirtualBox/VMware fail to emulate the ADlib sound card.
I simply wondered why a 32bit application on Mac is supported but ...I was searching for a dosbox 64bit.
however I found this link: https://www.dosbox.com/wiki/SVN_Builds
I was amused because it is linked in my signature 😀
And a 32bit built is supported because it is almost twice as fast as the 64bit build. TWICE!

Boy, that's gonna need to be fixed, as I think the rumor is Mac OS X is heading towards 64-bit support only?...

Yeah, there is this thread about the dynamic core that I understand nothing about what they write... but better 64bit performance is also important for ARM64...
And yes, the upcoming OS X, or rather MacOS, version is supposedly already bringing performance cuts in 32bit. Looking forward to what's happening 😉
How exactly is Mojave cutting performance over High Sierra? I am curious what you found.
If that is pointed at me it's more what I'm going to find!
Not anymore! ^^

Wonderful! Even if the last builds didn't work on my eMac running tiger, black screen with opengl output... Thanks! I should try to setup a building environement but I don't want to connect this "beast" to internet so no homebrew...
yeah, that black screen is due to the newly added opgengl shaders. Something goes wrong on 10.4 there...

Thank you for taking the time to answer.
Hello:)
I've just red that you have a functional 64bit dosbox build for os x.
Is there any chance I could download it somewhere?
Thanks in advance
Thank You:)
