I suspect my Armada M700 may have a battery that is still good for 2.5-3 hours... 😳

I am trying yet again to get two Sledgehammer Opteron 250 for my dual socket 940 board.
The board is an old board from the K8 release mid 2003 and dosnt support any newer core than the Sledgehammer (Clawhammer Opteron).
I have bought Opteron 250s listed as Sladgehammers from two diffrerent buyers already but both times I ended up with the Troy (San Diego Opteron) version.
Well third time's a charm I guess.
I am running dual Operon 248 on the board at the moment and I want those extra 200 MHz... GIEF!

If vogons had a like button (facebook), I would happily use it now.
As a fellow vogons member once described this as..."dirty urinal edition!"
This card was in just as good shape as I hoped it would be. It was well worth the ~20 Euro including shipping it set me back.

Well, as you might've known, I was planning to buy a Matrox Millenium II 4MB. Well, it arrived today. Set me back 5€ + 2,56 shipping.

You have to admit...it would take a man with exceptional skills to produce "artwork" like that.

What if it was done by a woman?
Today came box with 85pc simm modules for 20$ with shipping. 2x32MB, 34x16MB and more 8MB and 4MB modules.
I've tested them off by using old compaq prolinea 4100 dx4/100 with 8MB soldered. Funny, only one tested simm was faulty.
I was afraid that the compaq will not survive this memory swapping-hard work-but survived and has now more memory 😉
4 pc. apple vram 256k 69pin, few registered simms, one L2 cache board i have not tested yet, at least for now, because I do not have the proper hardware.

I just won an Intel Core 2 Extreme QX6700.
I got it for ~20 Euro 😀
This is really an epic CPU, I have wanted one for a long long time.

Ohh, I miss my 1000 EX wich I used to have... Bought it from flea market early 90s. It came with green monodisplay. Can't really remember much about it but it was so cute 😀
Yesterday salvaged HP Vectra VL 6 with P2 233, 8 mb ram, 2xcd-rom and 850 mb hd. Haven't tested it yet but there's a good chance it's gonna work.
