Hi,

I thought I should report this, seeing as I have nothing better to do at this hour!

I've noticed a peculiar graphic error, when minimizing the DOSBox window in Mac OS X. See attached screenshot, for reference. Half of the screen disappears for a moment.

Oh that's an OSX problem.. no DOSBox problem. I had this with other applications as well. 😀

A quick google search on "genie effect minimizing glitch" will offer a few links with information about the issue.

Actually, I didn't find much at all with those keywords. The thing is, all my other applications minimize clean, without the so called "glitch". It's only DOSBox that does this, and it's quite annoying.

Then don't use dosbox.

Or just don't minimise it. It doesn't seem to be the same issue that Rhoenie mentions (which has to do with killing the dock while minimising). Does it also happen with other SDL programs?

Fine, I won't! I thought creative criticism would be appreciated, but I guess I've been wrong.

Kippesoep:
No, just DOSBox. I've taken the run in fullscreen approach, but I'm going to see if I can find a more OS X native DOS emulator, that looks nicer, as well as works faster.

Found one. It's faster and neater. It runs DOS at it's native speed, and looks a whole lot more like a Mac OS X app! Much neater!

Bye-bye DOSBox! *drops it in trash* You were OK, I guess...
