EDIT 29/12/24: Fixing the broken images!

I picked up this 2005 gaming Dell from a neighbour, cleaned it up ready to go to a new home. It was REALLY dust, lots of do haire etc. I don't know how it got so bad. It's like it got stored in someone's chicken shed/dog kennel with the fans on full blast for years. Though it might be useful to share some pics in case anybody wants to do the same. Some of the fittings are not mentioned in the manual but for a deep clean need to strip it right down.

15 - 16 - This is the hinge assemble, same on both sides
17 - Front panel unclips, possibly had to undo the inner circuit board and decorative light fitting

The PSU had loads of fluff and hair in it so to get inot it

18 - Getting into PSU - Have to lift plastic and metal about here to slide off plastic slide bumper
18 - Lift off top

Side Panels
21 - 22 - Getting the plastic panels off side, similar thing where need to put a wedge in to separate plastic from metal in to key places so that the other attachments can unslot
23 - Interesting that thay made the L in Dell a different piece of plastivc

24 - 25 - All clean now

26 - 27 - Some of the cards in it. Now sporting a 120GB Sata SSD and a clean install of XP

Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. Stuff: https://archive.org/details/@horun

Dear OP

I don't think you can hot-linking image from google photo.
You should upload it as attachment to the post or put it to public image service like imgur.
