Hi
I have motherboard like in this link:
https://theretroweb.com/motherboards/s/asus-cur-dls
My motherboard is damaged. Can someone do a high qulity photos of the areas which are on my attached photos? I need informations about transistor Q14 (under the CMOS battery holder) and resistors R23, RN10 (close to PS/2 ports).
Thank You in advance.

Its a good board, Ive had one in the past.
As long as there is no damage to the traces then it should be a matter of finding somebody who can replace surface mount components.

Veeborg good job with IO shield. Thank You. If I will fix my motherboard I will print it for sure but first I can't wait for informations about parts which are missing on my mobo.
ElectroSoldier I will replace these elements. I have all I need to do it but first of all I have to know their specification.

On mine Q14 reads 'RKM 19" and the other missing as per the pic...

Thank You very, very much for these informations. Now I am trying to find something about transistor RKM19 and where to buy it but I can't find anything and also R23 don't have anything printed on it - maybe this is just an inductor? Anyway, once again for these informations. Now I am few steps forward to repair this interesting
mobo.
P. S. This what I thought is R23 it really is an inductor.

R22 and R23 are those 2 big 330 ohm resistors, the marking for the inductor is L23 printed right next to RN10.
you are missing 5 ferrite beads in total, L10-L13 and L23.
also RN5 is damaged and should be replaced.
RKM19 is 2n7002 in sot-23 package.

Karbist is right. And "FUSE2" is also damaged.

Here are pictures from my board. Huge resolution should help with figuring out what you need.

Let me know if you need any more.

That IO shield was a labor of love. took me way longer then I'd care to admit and I was way to picky on fitment. Hope it works well for you.

Thank You all very much for Your answers. Now I have to buy the missing parts and I hope this motherboard will start. There are also missing some capacitors but they don't have any descriptions so I will have to find replacments by desoldering and measuring these which still are on this board and have the same size and color. I think that there is no other way to find the values of these capacitors. The same is with inductors - I will have to take some from graphics cards and hope it will work. Board looks good - no broken traces visible. I will also need to replace electrolytic capasitors because they are masacred. I won't give up easily and I will really try to fix this motherboard.

Hello everyone!

I'm also restoring a CUR-DLS (rev. 1.05) which is missing some caps around vrm's and a pair of smd components.

Could you please help me identifying those missing parts?

Thank you so much!

I have ASUS CUR-DLS diagram in very bad quality pdf containing paper diagram scans as images = 6MB zipped (too big to attach) and cant text search 🙁

https://jumpshare.com/s/ZXHw6MRENQXy0FmhQdZH 'file will expire in 24 hours'

Does anyone have a good pdf editing setup/experience to fix this disaster of a document? at the very least extract images losslessly so they can be manually/AI cleaned and OCRed

Based on my own rev 1.05 (all original components) I've marked your pic as follows...

...yellow dot - 1500uF 6.3v (Rubycon ZL Series)
...blue dot - 620uF 6.3v (OSCON / Sanyo)
...green circle - you're missing a copper coil inductor like the one just below it

You'll notice there's some overlap on your remaining capacitors which seem to be different to mine (620 instead of 1500uF or 4700 instead of 1500uF). Has the board been worked on previously?

Can't help with likely values for the missing smd components.
