OK, worked with dosbox-staging!

[EDIT] It installs without the videos. The custscenes don't work.

maybe you need to have CD mounted as D:\

That was set to
Video =video

I tried setting it to cddrive:/splanet/video didn't work. I copied the video folder into the game folder and tried again with
Video=
And
Video =video

No joy.

Also tried mounting the cd as d: and that didn't work either.

i will wait for the build with fixed logging and check again then.

I'll try and get you a build within the next 2 days.

My priority is vquake at the moment.

Build 20240704.002 does have the logging fixed. But I need to test it some more.

i don't know why you used space before "="
but i guess it makes link not work and moves directly to game's menu and game works indeed (and with sound)

(game is using space after "=" and this way link works correctly) (videos need sound to be disabled in setsound to start)

what's an interesting coincidence is that in dosbox ykhwong (daum) space before "=" doesn't work in command line

Is that from config file. I don't remember typing cycles.

Using

1cycles= 10000 

didn't work in dosbox-Renditon for SPVerite. Vids don't playback even with sound disabled for me.

Does it work for you?

I'm guessing you're talking about the software renderer.

you can type in everything from config file, but things from first sections won't work immediately (more in dosbox manual)
