A fully remastered version of the 1997 PC game Quake 2 has been released, for the PC, Playstation 4, Playstation 5, XBox One, the XBox Series S, and the XBox Series X (I think I got the names right for the last two XBoxes). And this package contains not only the original game, but both official episodes (map packs), the levels for the Nintendo 64 version of the game (original levels make exclusively for the N64 port), and a new episode made by the people who made Wolfenstein The New Order. And considering this is made by Night Dive Studios, who also made the Quake 1 remaster, then the Q2 remaster might see the occasional free add on episodes released for it, as happened with the Q1 remaster.
And it's only £8 on Good Old Games (https://www.gog.com/en/game/quake_ii_quad_damage).
I'm not a fan of the Quake games (the only one I really liked was Quake 3, and even then I much preferred Unreal Tournament in the Q3 vs. UT war), but this will make many fans happy, and no doubt create quite a few more fans too.
