my data:

dBase II/86 Version 2.43
Linux Mint 20 Ulyana 64-bit, Kernel Linux 5.4.0-121-generic x86_64
Dosbox 0.74-3

The problem:

I am trying in vain to create a database file (dBase II). Each time the error message "Disk is full" appears. Although I have enough memory on my hard drive. The option "-freesize 1024" could also not remedy the situation. Who can help me? Thank you.

The option "-freesize 1024"

Required at the time you mount the drive.

There was an answer a month ago.

Also, regular DOSBox only supports games. If you want to run applications, you should checkout something like DOSBox-X or a full machine virtualisation such as 86Box instead.
