Got my copy of Sigil the other day too!
Got my copy of Sigil the other day too!
I picked up some games from GOG's summer sale for a pretty steep discount:
Daikatana
both Serious Sams
and the first three Tomb Raiders
with the plan of getting them running on my WinME/V2 SLI retro PC. I think all should work except Tomb Raider 3 and maybe Tomb Raider 1. Ended up paying less than $6US for the six games.
The more I learn, the more I realize how much I don't know.

GOG installers run on WinMe?

Unfortunately not. You have to install the game on a modern PC, then copy the game folder to the retro PC. In some cases you have to delete a few files in the game folder, such as 3dfx dlls.
Just tested: they all work except TR1 because no MS-DOS mode in ME.

Bought 3 Sierra games: Red Barron II, Silent Thunder: A-10 Tank Killer II, and SWAT 3: Close Quarters Battle and a Nova Logic game: Comanche 2 (both DOS and Windows 95).

Got the SIGIL big box. The cover artwork is embossed.
Sealed copy of C&C: Tiberian Sun. That back cover picture with NOD heavy tank and mammoth tanks always make me chuckle, why on earth they decided to use a screenshot from some early development build?
Been collecting PlayStation 1 games for a while now, but now that I almost have every game I want I've again started to eye up some big box PC games too. Luckily there aren't too many I'd like to eventially collect up, I don't have all that much space for these.

Thanks for letting me have a look inside the box. This allowed me to leave the seal on my copy intact and just put it to the rest of my id games. Next up: Ion Maiden...
Nobody wanted to buy this on eBay for $1.99, so I took pity on it and grabbed it. I've played this a bit many years ago, didn't realise it supports Roland MT-32 though, so it'll be good to test that out.
Got these in the mail this morning.
Took advantage of the GOG summer sale and picked up the Avernum and Geneforge series for ~80% off. Also picked up the first Avernum remake, Escape from the Pit since it was marked down equally. These look like my kind of RPGs, though I've never played any Spiderweb Software games, so I hope I like them.

Yeahhhh I do the same but they all just think I'm crazy - none are giving me free copies of kick ass games 🤣 😜

Classy, great taste.
Bought these games for my Genesis:
Sonic and Knuckles (compatible with Sonic 2 and Sonic 3)
Batman Returns
The Adventures of Batman and Robin
p.s.: sorry for the crappy picture quality. Phone's camera lens gets steamed up in high humidity.

Was at my mums house and found some old stuff 😀
A 1999 GDI Soldier that came with the collectors edition Tiberian Sun. I believe there was 4 different figures. I dont know the numbers on each or which is more or less rare.

Grabbed Deathtrack and Zork Nemesis big boxes. Happy to get Deathtrack, loved that game as a youngster.
I don't think I've ever seen a boxed Deathtrack in person, nice score!
That had to have been one of the most pirated games at my elementary school. A friend of mine "acquired" it from his cousin and pretty soon everyone in my grade was playing it. 😜 Good fun.

Wow - amazing! Seeing this box brings back memories - I bought Deathtrack at the time of release but it got misplaced or possibly stolen a few years later. I managed to hang on to the 5.25" floppies until I stupidly got rid of them a few years before I got into this hobby - I'd love to get my hands on a boxed copy at some stage but I don't think I've ever seen one for sale.
I love that game and still enjoy playing it from time to time 😀
