For about 30 USD including shipment, I purchased a Cooler Master Cavalier 2 CAV-T02 desktop case, for my upcoming project: Moving my 486 to a desktop ATX case! 🤣

Mostly in good condition. Except the missing vu meter back bracket and some other very small annoyances (like front panel led/button cables cut and then bandaided), it's actually in a very very good condition, considering I'm at least the third owner.
It accepts AT mobos of course:

Oh SNAP! That's amazingly cool.
I mostly finished the AT to ATX migration of my 486 last night and I'm (unexpectedly) amazed, too.
It's really a very good case. Very nice build, very confartable spacevise, can be unassambled easily to the bare skeleton, standard switches and leds (so I can easily replace the broken ones and repurpose the power button as turbo button), and so on.
I never ever liked or prefered a desktop case in my life, but this is clearly the exception that proves the rule. 🤣
I chose a desktop case just because I have no place in my "computer area" for an addtional tower, and only means to add a 5th computer to the exisiting setup is a desktop case under one of my monitors. I was experimenting the idea of a 386/486 class machine in a modern(ish) ATX case for a long time, that 3D printed AT/ATX faceplate sparkled it into action. Now (or rather, in a short time - need to sort out KVM issues) I will have 4 active retro coumputers(*) plus the daily driver. 🤣
Now only thing I'm missing is this:
