1GB memory stick on i5
got cr and n2 working on a different socket AM2 mobo with single core Athlon 64 (1GB memory). I guess next step is to try Phenom on this board and A64 on the other board.

Can't wait for your results.

a64 in the other board: cr and n2 still don't work.
phenom doesn't start in the other board at all (bios updated to latest):

Do you get the same error with the Phenom as in the other board? (Could not map physical to logic ...)

If someone here has a Heritage 16 MB V2200, can they check to see if the card actually reports 16 MB of VRAM?
Running RTest.exe from Windows 9x (https://nirvtek.com/downloads/RTest.7z) should report the amount of VRAM available to Windows.

P.S. Cross posted here.
What I would like to see is someone running a replay using 1982Cart+DetroitDowntown on an 8 MB card and reporting back whether the world textures lose detail as happens here, towards the end:

1982Cart, paletted, no dither:

Detroit Downtown HQ:

To install a car set, unzip carset contents to the cars/198cart subfolder. In game go to "Driver Info/Carsets" menu and select 1982 cart.
Install the Detroit downtown HQ folder by unzipping the track somewhere and copy the contents at the meaty level directory (not necessarily the blank higher levels) so that the files appear and paste them into <ICR2 folder>\TRACKS\Detroit91 .
Select the Detroit Downtown HQ track for a race and run 1 lap of a full race. Afterwards without exiting the track menu select replay and observer whether the world textures switch to a flat shaded single colour as the card runs out of texture RAM.

is it possible to run RRedline apps on a Creative 3D Blaster PCI?
I ask because I have a 3D blaster in a 2.4 GHz Pentium 4 Win98 machine. I can run RRedline apps with Rendition reference and Creative drivers, they're ridiculously unstable, usually crashing in Windows File Explorer.
The W98 built in drivers are stable, but there's no RRedline, Direct3D or OpenGL. But Speedy3D and CGL work fine. What's weird is that these drivers do have redline.dll and verite.dll but they don't seem to work for some reason.
Is this normal or is it just me? Thanks guys!

BTW I still wonder how many proprietary 3D APIs was there before OGL/D3D - just looking at thread about 3D Blaster and CGL. Can also V2200 run CGL games? If there's backward / driver compatability?

Nope, or not as far as I can tell. When my wrapper gets CGL support it might be a fun side project to try and get it going on the V2200.

I think I've fixed by RRedline problems on the 3D Blaster PCI. I had the machine connected to the network. Disconnected that and it's stable. There is one problem though, the monitor goes to "no signal" for around 30 seconds at Windows login. It might be my VGA to HDMI adapter, but the V2000 has no problems with that.

Btw what vga2hdmi you use? I tried a cheap one that even didn't pass textmode and anything below 480p as it had't scaler. I guess that even better adapters may not like some specific timings. You may pass video to old good CRT and put a remote streamed camera in front of it 😀

🤣! This one's quite good works really well with the Stealth II:

Does all the console modes and everything. The only problem I have is with the 3D Blaster PCI at Windows startup. I actually get a warning from a piece of Creative software to update it right after the screen comes back to life.
[EDIT]
It used to work fine with the 3db as well before I updated the driver.
