@EricDraven

You probably meant to ask your question to NewRisingSun , who opened this thread.

That being said, there used to be a file attached to the first post [1]. That link is now gone from the post and does not work either. I do not know if this intentional or a forum bug.

You can still get the file from the Internet Archive [2].

EDIT: I messaged admins about this.

Sorry for my english

Would it be possible to rework this program into a TSR so that it can be ran just once during a DOS session and then games can be launched normally? I feel like this would a much more convenient way of implementing it. Or do the fixes cause issues with other games that use General MIDI?

In this case, you need MIDITO which is a TSR...

Athlon64 3200+, HD3650, SB Audigy 2ZS
P4 1.8Ghz, V3, SBLive
P3 866Mhz, Riva TNT2, SB Audigy
P2 266Mhz, RageIIc, V2, SBLive
P233 MMX, Mystique 220, SB 32
P100, S3 Virge GX, AWE64, WavetablePi & PicoGus
Prolinea 4/50, ET4000, SB 16, WavetablePi

Does that fix the hanging note bug? The documentation doesn't list that under the DSP fixes...

I must have dreamt it... I thought it was part of the DSP fixes, but sadly it's not.
