Edit: Found RA34 second resistor to be broken! I got idea to check RA resistor arrays from @lemonlime video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tRFucW4uB5k
And it fixed it. Ha! 😀))
Thanks all !

Thats amazing. Good work! YouTube is sometimes an amazing source of information.

I have fixed one voodoo 2 with minor problems, just missing components. But I have one 8 mbyte that still needs repair. It was very dirty when I bought it, some kind of gooey resin all over it. Might just need further cleaning, as it is very hard to clean some parts of the ram chips. But this card locks up at the 3dfx logo so tbh I think it is something else.

I'm looking at RA34 on originally posted photo and visually it's ok. How exactly did you find out?

He measured (multimeter) the resistance on it and compared it to the number written on the component.

Yep, this, with multimeter, but not the number written, there is a thread on Vogons with values of all components on Creative Voodoo 2 that has same PCB as Diamond.

BTW, ordered 20 memory chips for 8MB --> 12MB upgrade for both cards 😀
20pcs EliteMT M11B416256A-25J on eBay, US$20 + $4 postage.

Sure, https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/284061781710 - disclaimer - I never used this seller before, and I have not got the chips yet.
And have nice looking heatsinks link too 😀 https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0CWXLSXPT

Great, thanks too, saved the link in case mine are no good. I did like the print on mine, looks exactly like chips on one of my card.
