Hi,
according to the instruction manual the game graphics are Super VGA 640x480, but I am not able to get it to run at more than 320x200 (VGA).
I also haven't seen any option in the game menu to change the resolution.
Is it possible to play in Super VGA mode?

Unlikely, given that this is an arcade port with typical 16-bit graphics. It wouldn't benefit from higher resolutions anyway.

The manual says that it requires a 1MB SVGA, but also says "in order to play the FMV" (in the CD booklet). I'm guessing the only thing with higher resolution than standard VGA is these videos.

No. Game works fine at 640x480 with my Rage LT Pro AGP 2X:

You mean using a real PC and not DOSBox, right?
The game uses mode-X, which is VGA mode 13h tweaked to 320x240 resolution. The monitor says 640x480 because the height and width are being doubled by the video hardware.
