My point, is that I am unable to meaningfully attest to such a statement, without actually hands-on experience with the product.
Parroting "Oh, its from China, so it must be bad!" is not the path to knowledge nor competence. "Its bad, I've personally tested it, and it acts these ways" *IS*.
I cannot get to the latter, because of what is essentially market collusion from the Federal government to prevent the product from getting here.
If the complaint is "It acts like an old, (VERY OLD), extra weak processor", I will remind that we (as nerds in general), have committed to the creation of utilities explicitly devoted to KNEECAPPING modern processors, so that our favorite old software can run appropriately.
A weaksauce x86 cpu *HAS* applicable use in our community, and might actually be a very desirable commodity, if used properly. Is it *actually* useful to us? We dont know, and cant properly know; We cant really get ahold of the stuff to know for sure.
That's kinda the point here.
