I'm not sure what the best patch engines/creators are for MS-DOS. My goal is to find one that can do byte-to-byte patchers, and that it can be compiled as an executable once created.

Any help would be appreciated. Cheers.

I've tested it in DOSBox-X, but it says that the executable is not a DOS program. I meant in the title as an 'MS-DOS patcher' and clearly not a Windows command-based program.

Sorry. I assumed something, and neglected to test it first.

Did just notice this one, PatchMaker:
PatchMaker: an easy patch solution.
