The BP6 maxes out at 768 MiB, no doubt. It has 3 memory slots, and being a BX, maximum pr slot is 256 - and the memory organization has to be right for the BX to recognize all 256 and not only half. It was very popular back in the day to use 333 or 366s in the BP6 to run 500 or 550. Maybe that's why those coolers are that large. They look really nice!
CuMine Celerons won't run SMP, AFAIK no one has succeeded on getting that to work. CuMine P3s otoh I think I have seen done with some modifications. Tualatin, I don't know of ...
Great board, I have 2 of them, one with 366s and one with 533s. My master plan is modifying Golden Orbs to fit on one of them (mostly for looks) and bin a couple of 400s from my stack to find 600 MHz capable units. Pairing with 768 MiB memory, which I also have, tested and ready 😀
If it's dual it's kind of cool ... 😎
