I bought a pc analyzer card. But the document is good for error codes but what does sw1 do? Also does the little speaker work if I connect the supplied cables of jp2 to the motherboard speaker pin header.? Picture below

IIRC, SW1 lets you see the two previous codes before the ones currently displayed.
And yes, the speaker works as expected if you connect it to the motherboard using a two-pin wire.

SW1 is a multi-function switch. It's basic function (short press) is exactly as described: Each push of that button goes one step backwards in POST code history. A long press of SW1 switches the mode. One long press toggles the direction from "dn" (down) to "uP", stepping in the other direction through the POST code history. With another long push, you can get into a diagnostic mode that tests the 7-segment encoding by displaying 0000,1111,2222 and so on until FFFF. I read somewhere that there are/were boards that would measure bus frequency in one of the advanced modes reachable by pressing SW1 for a "long" time, but the cheap analyzer cards flooding the retro market today don't seem to have this functionality included.
I bought one, but doesn't work with any motherboard. Have to try and resolder it.

If it looks anything like the card in this post, Re: Troubles between a PCI/ISA POST card and my Asus P55T2P4-C motherboard , the ISA part will never work.
Right to repair is fundamental. You own it, you're allowed to fix it.

I have the one from the original post, but mine does nothing but show detected voltage on the LEDs. Display shows nothing. I'm using it over pci.
I've been wanting one of these for some time now.
Any recommendations?
