Are there any players that will decode on a non-MMX CPU? I'm trying a 360p MPEG1 on a Pentium Pro 200@233 mhz and ATI Rage Pro Turbo PCI. The enhanced driver from the ATI Rage 5.30 CD didn't make a difference under Win98's media player and the ATI player gives an error on non-MMX CPU.
I can't download any older ATI players or Cinemaster older than Cinemaster 99; all the links I could find are dead 😒

Oldest Win9x ATi DVD player should be version 1.2 that i know and oldest ATi Video player for Win9x Rage Pro should be ATi Video Player 5.0. ATi Video Players have even in Windows 3.x version. I would check out Mach64 Video Players also (Rage Pro is Mach64). I would start with ATi Video Player V2.22 and and Video Player v3.1. Probably there are other versions out there to check out.
