Beautiful, looks like it just came out of the box. You absolutely need a mint condition beige keyboard to finish it off!

And a 5.25 inch floppy disk drive to fill that gaping hole in the case 😀)

Actually, on a system of this age, I would find a second CD drive more useful than a 5.25" floppy. 😉

The Aureal Vortex audio is unbelievable, tbh, I expected Voodoo3 to be the star of the show, but turned out it was the sound card.

Count me jealous. I only have an Aureal Vortex 1 card. And I never used it. 🤣

How much would it take to ship you one, I wonder 😀)

I can understand why you'd not want a 5.25" floppy drive on a PC of that era.

I understand why, back in the day, that two CD drives would be useful. But now, for retro gaming, I'm not so sure. Just stick in a DVD writer drive and you should be able to do anything other than direct disk to disk copies. But with copy protection on most disks from 1998 onwards, I don't think I'd be doing that.

The reason why I would want a 5.25 floppy drive is because I need a Windows PC with USB and LAN to write images to disks to be used on older computers 😀)

I do this all the time from various places...

if I need to move files from one system to another, I use DDLINK (no
need for a full up network).

To write images to disk under DOS, I use XDISK, or if non-PC disk, ImageDisk

To write them under Windows I used to use Winimage ... but I've found a simple
(and very small): DSKWRITE.EXE

In case any of these interest you:
DDLINK, XDISK and ImageDisk are all things I've written.
I include DSKWRITE in at least one of my packages on my site.
If needed - I can provide details on exactly where they are.

Thanks, friend. Those might come in handy when I at least have a functional Ethernet for my retro computers. But for now, the way I move large files is either CD blanks or USB, and USB on DOS is not ideal, to say the least.
