I need to use a wireless keyboard and mouse on a computer. The computer is a Single Board Computer installed inside an Amiga 2000. I therefore have limits on expansions. Now I don't remember the model but I can say that it is socket 370, it has the PS/2 (to which the PS/2 keyboard and mouse is now connected) and the USB port. I tested it with a USB keyboard and it works under DOS natively. But I read here on vogons that the USB mouse with DOS is a huge problem so the classic USB keyboard/mouse combo wouldn't work under DOS. What do you recommend? to buy an old used ps/2 ps/2 keyboard and mouse on ebay?

I prefer to having something simpler, like a proper combo key+mouse receiver (ps/2 double or usb + ps/2 or unique USB for key+mouse) that work out of the box. I’m sure that the old Logitech radio receiver with two ps/2 obviously work, but having a single small USB for both key+mouse is preferred instead od 2mt of cable from the rear to the receiver…

well now im confused, you didnt want usb mouse, but now you are looking for usb mouse? 😀

no no, sorry if I was unclear, I would like to connect a combo kit with keyboard and mouse and a single USB receiver, but even if the keyboard would probably work, I doubt the mouse will work under DOS

then those are precisely what you want
usb https://github.com/No0ne/ps2x2pico
bluetooth https://github.com/Hamberthm/esp32-bt2ps2

first one connects with two ps2 cables converting USB keyboard and USB mouse to ps2, you dont have to connect USB keyboard
second one lets you use BT mouse over ps2
