Hi all, I need help. When I run a dos program it give me DPMI ERROR 400A I think I must run himem.sys before my program. But I can not find info in FAQ how to run himem.sys in dosbox. Pls help.

In the config file near the bottom, xms=true
are you sure you run it in dosbox ?
Those numbers are not what dosbox 0.74 should tell you.

In any case, DOSBox does not have DPMI services built in, you have to use a DPMI server program. Examples: CWSDPMI.EXE or HDPMI32.EXE for a 32-bit server, DPMI16BI.OVL or HDPMI16.EXE for a 16-bit server.
