Re: Retro Laptop with Voodoo 2

not this time, but I have with voodoo 2 cards before in a different system. just try to figure out what other hardware is using those memory addresses. system info should tell you, and you can try siv32. I would try disabling hardware that isn't being used to free up resources. You can try …

Re: Retro Laptop with Voodoo 2

I was curious, and can confirm it does work. Magma PCI expansion Chassis with Voodoo 2 and CardBus adapter inserted into windows 98se vintage Laptop. Next step add a second voodoo for SLI. Civilization runs slow under Windows 98 but not Windows 95. Any idea why?

Re: MIDI tower interconnections

I'm insanely jealous of your setup and retirement plan, but I use a flight case with a professional mixer mounted in it. I use a Roland M12-E with 12 inputs. I have my AWE64 on a separate channel and each MIDI box on a separate channel, with one output to the speakers.

Re: No Midi with Roland SC-55

I would bet that cable is a dud . Most of the gameportMIDI cables on Ebay are out of spec (connected straight through) and will either not work or work marginally . New old stock cables covered in molded plastic have a better chance of being actually usable . See this thread : https://www.vogons. …
