After a non short while on the internet, the most used method so far is spreadsheets. I don't think that it is the best. Plain Word-like programs are on par or second by not much, ease of use is probably the cause while spreadsheets are good for lists.

iMac G5 2.1GHz , 20" screen -- PSU died when the seller turned it on to show me it worked. Purchase canceled. The original box was damaged, holding with tape. It was advertised as brand new... guess it served him well.

I wonder if a "res network" (long big black ones) is missing or something. L2 cache goes through it for a fact. 1MB was overkill and unlikely to be populated, they could have not soldered the required network. Comparing yours with ver 1.7 could be a last step.

I fried a ferrite with a short and died a burning death. Check any component on the CLK and test for shorts, res too high etc.
