I ran ME daily from 2003 - 2009 on dual boot PCs - first an MMX Packard Bell, then a PIII Tulip. 98SE was on the other drive but I hardly ever used it. It felt so clunky and old-fashioned compared to ME. I found that ME ran best with all updates installed and at least 256mb ram.
