I run a computer with GS at 332, LA synths at 330, and UART at 300, but I still have to use a mixer for mixing the cards with internal and external sound, like MT-32 which is connected to an LAPC-I.

Not that I can see. You check the video I have attached. I thought the game would pre-load sysex before it starts to play music. I think the system is just too fast for the HardMPU or the the card as an issue. I tried in another 486 DX2/66 and it's even worst. I think tha t I'll just go with the …

This is a known error. It is clipping. I think it was designed for new version of MT-32

No, unless it’s passive, you most likely will get issues with the intelligent mode from the MPU-401.

Did you check the mixer? See if it isn’t muted? Might have to check it in the options to see it in the mixer too.

There’s a portable Sound Canvas. The SCP-55. Requires drivers and a PCMCIA slot.

I use a SCM Swapbox. Needs drivers for DOS and takes a bit of memory. It also requires B000-BFFF excluded with emm386.exe. Supports up to 32MB ATA.
